Readers have been sending in their dynasty/keeper league trades for almost two months now. I’ve given them my two cents and put every trade up on the site as a poll for all to see. I figured it was about time I turned the tables and let you have your say on the deals Paul and I have made in The Dynasty Guru Experts League. Since most of the pieces we were willing to move have been moved, it’s time to regroup and look back on what we’ve got. It’s your turn to vote on which side you liked in our deals. Better yet, leave your thoughts in the comments section.
Here’s the skinny. It’s a 20-team, 40-man roster dynasty league. Most teams will keep 35 players on their roster. We’ll only keep 20 thanks to the Invisible Hand bid for the rights to the #1 overall pick in the initial draft. This means we will have 15 extra roster spots to fill in next year’s draft. It’s a one-catcher league with two utility slots, nine pitcher slots, seven bench slots, and minimum ten MiLB players. Since we had first pick this year, we would have the last pick in each of the Invisible Hand supplemental rounds (non-snaking) in 2015. In the first five rounds however, we have a chance for one of the three top picks in each round (non-snaking) due to our current standing (16th). To get an idea of the players available in next year’s draft, there are the 100 players not kept, 61 additional players not kept due to Invisible Hand, all IFA signees, and all players taken in this week’s MLB Draft. There are no contracts or salaries to consider…it’s keep forever.
